@bex was actually just talking about her discovery about the benefit of using a diffuser! Nice to see the knowledge spread!

I actually sit under a hooded dryer first and then spot dry with my diffuser. Either method works but my hair comes out smoother when I dry with the hood. The overall benefit to either method is that it dries your hair faster than air drying to prevent hygral fatigue (over moisture). This can cause your hair to become brittle over time.
